Purpose
Purpose
The Gene Therapy Society of Singapore was set up in 2024 to provide a platform to bring together clinicians, researchers, industry and patients involved in genetic medicine and therapies. Rather than focusing on the scientific community only, the society is also bringing together individuals involved in translation, deployment, advocacy and outreach of gene therapy, so as to be a bridge between cutting edge research and real world impact.
Gene Therapy Society of Singapore seeks to:
Advance & promote the translation of genetic medicine and therapies;
Advocate for availability of genetic medicine to patients;
Enhance public understanding of genetic medicine and therapies.
We hope those of you working on or having an interest in genetic medicine can join us in this society and help shape the direction it moves in.
